Absence/Tardy Policy

Inclement weather will not cancel a riding class. Under CHA guidelines we will teach all aspects of horsemanship which include ground lessons as well as mounted classes. St Andrews Stables respects the working environment we live in and therefore class held in with weather colder then -25 will be a ground class held in the barn for the comfort of the horses and the riders.

If a lesson is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, St. Andrews Stables will contact you at the numbers you provide on your registration sheet. Please inform the office if you have any changes in your contact number.

If you are tardy to a group lesson and other students in the class are already in the arena, you may observe the lesson. If the lesson that day is a ground lesson you may participate.

If you are unable to attend a group lesson, please notify the office, no refund or make up classes will be given. Please make sure you are able to schedule ahead for the month of lessons at the beginning of every month to ensure your availability - you pay for the classes you are able to attend.

Private lessons require a minimum 24-hour notice for cancellation of your class.
